■ Participants must be undergraduate dental students.
Eligibility
■ Each team will present one clinical case in English.
■ The session will be competitive. An award will be granted to the best presentations based on the evaluation criteria
To present a noteworthy dental case, emphasizing diagnostic challenges and/or therapeutic approach. The selected case must reflect the academic level, clinical exposure, and practical experience of undergraduate students. Complex or highly specialized cases should be avoided unless the student was directly involved and can clearly explain the case's relevance and learning points at their level.
Aim
■ One supervisor (DDS or MD)
■ Undergraduate(s) dental students
Each presentation must include:
Team Composition
Total duration per team: 8 minutes
■ Discussion: 2 minutes
■ Presentation: 6 minutes
Timing
■ Title: No more than 15 words, written in lowercase (except for proper nouns and the first letter of the first word)
Structure:
Length: Must not exceed 250 words
Abstract Requirements
■ Students: Full first name and surname in lowercase, separated by commas
■ Supervisor: Full first name and surname, followed by academic title or position, and affiliation (university, hospital, private practice, etc.)—all in lowercase
■ Presenter’s contact: Include email address and mobile number
■ Case Report: Summarize the key features of the case and describe the primary steps in diagnosis and/or treatment
■ Discussion: Highlight clinical insights or educational points that may benefit other dental professionals
File Submission:
■ Abstracts must be submitted in .docx format by the 30th of June 2025
■ Include the names of both students and the supervisor in the file name.
Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed in the abstract or at the beginning of the presentation.
Conflict of Interest:
Use lowercase letters throughout the title and abstract, except:
Formatting Rules
■ For proper nouns (e.g., names, countries)
■ At the beginning of a sentence
Do not use bold, italics, underline, bullet points, or hyphenation
Use plain text only
